It's actually been a year or two.
Agents are really much better now, and they'll keep getting better. People are still surprised when I say that, but reading code makes no sense anymore.
Disagree or debate me all you want, but soon you'll realize and admit I was right.
You are also an asshole that slows things down on accept, prompt, and validating that agents work. My 60 agents are working right now. I don't mean every code are perfect and have no issue at all, before AI we still have have human slop. I have nothing to share here, everything is already out there and outdated every random morning. People keep building more ways for agents to validate themselves — pstack or whatever similar right now — but that changes soon too, even prompting will being automated. Just keep up with all the techniq you found and try them all, please move on and accept that you was a software engineer.
I retired as a professional software engineer (damn, I miss the time when debugging took days or weeks with debug print out). Now I'm just the one who makes agents make programs.
